Part of the series, ‘9’, where Sophie painted 81 goldfish in 9 days, tying in with the auspicious number 9 from feng shui belief that it is very lucky.
The singular gold fish in each piece represent new beginnings and fresh starts, the buzzy exciting energy that comes with possibility.
