Working predominantly in oil and charcoal, Sophie explores the world through expressive drawings and paintings. Pairing naive charcoal sketch with more detailed oil paint, Sophie paints the world through her perception.

Having painted animals professionally since 2017, she is moving towards contemporary still life. Encapsulating memories and thoughts in paintings, so that they become immortalized. Like a visual diary, her work expresses her internal monologue.
